Alexia Ashford (アレクシア・アシュフォード) is the main antagonist of the 2000 Dreamcast survival horror game "Resident Evil: Code Veronica", aka. "Biohazard: Code Veronica" (バイオハザード コード:ベロニカ), as well as it's enhanced re-release "Resident Evil: Code Veronica X". She is also a secondary antagonist in the 2009 Wii on-rails shooter game, "Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles" (バイオハザード/ダークサイド・クロニクルズ).

Alexia is the creator of the T-Veronica virus, twin sibling of Alfred Ashford, and granddaughter of Edward Ashford, one of the founders of the Umbrella Corporation.

Highly intelligent, she became a Chief Senior Researcher at the Antartic Umbrella facility at only ten years of age. Just a couple years later, with the help of her brother, she murdered her father, Alexander, using a virus that she created from a queen ant and another virus known as "Progenitor". She then injected a refined version of this virus into herself, and then went into cryostasis.

Fifteen years later, Alexia was unfrozen by her dying brother, after his encounter with main protagonist, Claire Redfield. Using her new, matured powers, she attacks the heroine and her freshly-aquainted friend, Steve Burnside, but fails to kill them. Steve is later captured by Alexia and mutated into a monster. When the boy refuses to do her murderous bidding, she murders him. The villainess is finally destroyed in an epic final battle with Claire's brother, Chris, who fires a blast from a Linear Launcher at her.

Alexia displays an adaptational evil boost in "Darkside Chronicles" in that she murders Alfred for not having revived her sooner, reinforcing that she cares only for herself.
