John Steed (Patrick Macnee) and Mrs Emma Peel (Diana Rigg) are investigating the deaths of several people, which are thought to be caused by a tiger roaming about the countryside. They follow the trail to a care home for cats called P.U.R.R.R., which was an acronym for Philanthropic Union for Rescue, Relief, and Recuperation. In reality, the home is a front being used by Angora and her cohorts to turn domestic cats into killing machines. The cats are being fitted with an electronic receiver on their collars. When activated, the radiowaves heighten their ability to attack like tigers and kill their owners.
Mrs Peel soon suspects that Angora and her cronies are up to no good. She discovers their plan and returns to P.U.R.R.R. to put an end to Angora’s villainous ways. When she arrives, she sees Angora making her way to the getaway van. Mrs Peel creeps up behind Angora and as she turns around slams the van door in her face knocking her out cold. She then bundles an unconscious Angora into the back of the van and rescues Steed.
