Annie's "Mom" (Tracie Thoms) is a villainess from the 2014 big screen adaptation of Annie. She and her husband (also unnamed) were hired by Will Stacks' campaign manager, Guy Danlily, to pose as Annie's biological parents.

Danlily originally colluded with Colleen Hannigan (who runs the foster home that Annie resided in) on the scheme, but Hannigan had a change of heart once she was told the real plan by Danlily. The plan was to have the fake parents "reunite" with Annie to boost Stacks' numbers in the mayoral election, and after Stacks wins, Danlily would put Annie back in the system, with the "parents" being paid for their services. Stacks was fully unaware of his campaign manager's callous scheme until Hannigan and the rest of the orphans told Stacks everything, leading to Stacks angrily firing Danlily.

However, the villainous phony mother and her husband had already taken Annie in their car, and it was there that Annie figured out that the people who took her were not her real parents. With everything revealed, the villainess coldly told Annie about their role in the plan, while deceptively stating that Stacks was "done taking photos" with Annie; giving Annie the false idea that Stacks was behind the plan. The couple saw Annie attempt to escape and get attention from others, only to stop her, but one young boy snapped a photo of Annie and sent it on social media, and that got the attention of Stacks, the group, and (most importantly) the police. This led to a chase between the police and the abductors, who stopped the car and attempted to escape, only to be caught by police and arrested.
