Aunt Gina (Lucy Gaskell) is a villainess from "Girl on a Train," episode 1.09 of Ransom (airdate March 4, 2017). She is the evil aunt of the episode's protagonist, Mia Crockett, who went missing for six months. When Mia was found, Gina's villainous past was revealed in a video that Mia recorded.
Mia's uncle had been sexually assaulting her, and as revealed in the testimonial, Gina knew about it. Two years prior to the episode's events, Mia planned to tell her mother about the assaults, but on that day, her uncle drowned. Gina discovered a note on the scene, but she threw it away and made the death look like an accident.
Following her husband's death, the evil Gina continued abusing her niece by blaming her for what happened to her uncle. She also revealed that she and her husband made videos of Mia and him together, and if Mia ever told her mother the truth, she would upload them to ruin Mia's life. After Mia's testimony, Gina was arrested, and she was shown in handcuffs just three months after Mia was rescued.
