Chao Lin (Tia Carrere) is the main villainess from "The Enemy of My Enemy," episode 8.03 of Blue Bloods (airdate October 13, 2017). She is a notorious human trafficker who had been selling girls (as young as the age of 13; according to prosecutor Erin Reagan) as sex slaves.

In the beginning of the episode, a video of Chao ordering her henchmen to cut a competitor's hand off was played, with the video being allowed to be used as evidence in Chao's trial. During the plea bargaining process, Chao made a threat to Erin, who responded by turning down any and all pleas for a lesser sentence. The villainess sent her men to threaten a man named Jon Wheeler into killing Judge Tressler, which he does by sending him off a building, with the plan being to cause a mistrial.

Detectives Danny Reagan (Erin's brother) and Maria Baez interrogated Chao regarding Tressler's death, with Chao brashly stating that she was in custody at the time of the murder. After learning about Danny being Erin's brother, the evil Chao made a veiled threat towards Erin, and that was followed by Chao's henchmen attempting to run Erin off the road. After successfully getting a full confession from Wheeler which inlcuded the entire details of his role, the mistrial threat was kiboshed, and Chao was convicted (off-screen) of her various crimes.
