Danielle Madison (Heather Stephens) is a villainess from "Curse of the Coffin," episode 5.06 of CSI: Miami (airdate October 23, 2006). She is the best friend of Alissa Valone, who was found dead in her living room. Danielle claimed to have found Alissa dead when visiting the home, with a small coffin next to the body, due to Alissa being a practitioner of Santeria (a mix of Catholicism and African voodoo). She became a suspect in Alissa's murder when her angry phone messages to Alissa were discovered in a destroyed computer, with Danielle revealing that she was angry at Alissa for passing her over for a promotion.
Though she was removed as a suspect afterwards, it was later revealed that Danielle had indeed killed Alissa, doing so while conspiring with Alissa's boyfriend, Jeremy Fordham, in a murderous and monetary plot. Alissa informed Jeremy that her ex-husband, Trevor, and his friend, Ed Smith, had colluded to steal $4 million in gold from Alan Solner. Following this, Jeremy planned to get the gold, killing Ed after he dug it out of the burial plot. Danielle was enlisted to get rid of Alissa, and it was right before the episode's beginning that she went on her mission.
After entering Alyssa's home, the evil Danielle boasted about having Jeremy and the gold before bludgeoning Alissa to death with one of Trevor's golf clubs, doing so to frame Trevor. The villainess cleaned up the scene and went to the mausoleum to retrieve the gold, which she returned to Solner for a $1 million reward.At the end of the episode, Danielle left her car at Solner's home and escaped to a beach, where she was shown lounging and enjoying her ill-gotten gains. Unbeknownst to Danielle, the small coffin from Alissa's home was underneath her chair.
