Dr. Kate Delieb (Kathleen Quinlan) is the main villainess from "Today is the Last Day of the Rest of My Life," the sixth season finale of Diagnosis Murder.

Dr. Kate Delieb is a newly added physician at Community General Hospital, but as revealed in the episode, she was nearly indicted for manslaughter for performing an assisted suicide on a patient in Oklahoma. Once she moved to Community General, Kate continued her villainous procedures, first on a patient stricken with Lou Gehrig's disease, doing so by connecting him to a suicide machine.

Later in the episode, the evil Kate is seen with David Goodman, another terminally ill patient who was in the care of another doctor. The villainess ordered a nurse to discharge him so he can be sent back home, where Kate performs her evil methods on David. Mark entered with Steve and the others to try to stop her, but they are too late, as David passes. Kate is arrested and later defends her actions to Mark, claiming that she is giving patients free will and ending their pain and anguish. After a hearing that had Mark abhor Kate's actions, but also admit that Kate is honest in how she handles her patients, Kate is officially charged with second-degree manslaughter. The episode ends without any revelation of whether or not Kate is convicted, but she does ask Mark to speak as a witness.
