Malfaire (Lisa Gaye) is a secondary antagonist in the 1989 comedy horror film "The Toxic Avenger Part II" as well as its 1989 sequel "The Toxic Avenger Part III: The Last Temptation of Toxie". The two movies were actually filmed as one, and when they realized they had 3 hours of footage, decided to break it up into two movies.
Malfaire was second in command of the evil corporation "Apocalypse Inc." and the leader of a group of female thugs known as "The Bad Girls". The leader of the corporation was known as the Chairman (Rick Collins), who also went by the nickname The Devil. Their nemesis is the Toxic Avenger (John Altamura).
Toxic in the first movie had been a scrony runt and had been bullied by his classmates. He was ultimately thrown through a window and landed in a barrell of toxic waste. The toxic waste changed his tiny body into a mutant with superhuman size and strength. Due to the toxic chemicals in his body, Melvin as he was originally called, automatically wanted to destory all the evil in his town of Tromaville. This was caused by weird particles in his body called Tromatons. After ridding the town of evil, he lived happily ever after with his blind girlfriend Claire (Phoebe Legere) After his town was completely clean of crime and bad people, the Apocalypse Inc. moved into Tromaville.
Once in the town, they attempt to kill Toxic by blowing up his house. However, Toxic survived along with Claire, and he thwarted the evil plan of Apocolypse Inc.
Malfaire and the Chairman call a meeting of the board of directors and talk about how they can finally rid themselves of Toxic. Malfaire is especially anxious to get a hold of Claire, which she calls the "blonde, bimbo, hoar, bitch girlfriend". At the meeting she begins fantasizing about what she will do with Claire, mentioning her legs and her melon heavy breasts. She talks about grabbing her hair and wrapping it around her neck, and strangling her until her eyes bug out. Clearly she has anger issues, and some lesbian sado masochist tendancies. She continues that to destroy Toxic, they they will need to destroy the Tromatons in his body. To do that, they need to get technology, and the best place to do that is in Japan.
They send Toxic on a wild goose chase to Japan to look for his long lost father. While he is there, they take over Tromaville. Toxie gets beat down by the Japanese branch of the Apocolypse Inc. Luckily, he is nursed back to health by some sumo wrestlers. Once he is ok, he heads back to Tromaville.
Malfaire visits Claire's house along with her Bad Girls gang of goons. They surround her and begin torturing her and poking at her. Malfaire and Claire begin a classic catfight. About this time, Toxic shows up and begins tossing the individual Bad Girls out of his house one by one. The last one remaining is Malfaire, who is still engaged in a catfight with Claire. Claire finally gains control of the fight, lifing the slender Malfaire up on her shoulders. She spins her around and around before tossing her on the bed. Then she jumps on top of her and the two continue to wrestle around. Finally, Claire puts a viscious knee to Malfaire's crotch, and she forced to limp out of the trailer park with a silly expression on her face.
Apocolypse Inc., is soundly defeated, and we see Malfaire and the Chairman limp out of town.
In the second film, or part 3, Apocalypse decides to go about it a little differently. Malfaire suggests to the Chairman, that they need to get the Toxic Afenger on the payroll if they want to defeat him. The Chairman likes this idea, and they decide to recruit Toxic to come work for them. They tell him that there is a chance for Claire to see again, but it would cost him a lot of money. They ask him to work as a spokesman for Apocolypse Inc.
Apocolypse takes over Tromaville again and makes everyone slaves to work for them. After Claire's surgery, she opens up Toxie's eyes and he has to battle with The Devil himself so there will be a better future.
Malfaire is ultimately killed near the end of the third movie, when a schoolbus (previously filled with children who are rescued by Toxie) falls from the edge of a cliff and crushes her. When the camera pans down on the wreckage, we see Malfaire's legs sticking out from under the bus, and they begin shriveling up. While this is happening we hear her say "I'm melting....." It is like a scene from the Wizard of Oz, when the house falls on the Wicked Witch of the East, only instead of the black and white stripped leotards, Malfaire is wearing her trademark fishnet stockings.
Malfaire is very into fashion, and she is always dressed to the hilt in trashy wear. She has is always wearing some sort of elaborate head dress or feathers, along with a skimpy top, sometimes even a decorative bra. Normally, she is wearing high heels along with fishnet and seemed stockings. In addition, she loves wearing opera gloves, fur, feathers, and in one scene wears a Mardi Gras mask over her eyes.

- Lisa Gaye appeared as the evil Professor Holt in the 1991 Troma film "Class of Nuke 'Em High Part II: Subhumanoid Meltdown", she followed that up reprising the same role in the 1994 Troma film "Class of Nuke 'Em High Part 3: The Good, the Bad and the Subhuamanoid". Once again in 2013 she reprised the role of Professor Holt in the 2013 Troma film, "Return to Nuke 'Em High Volume 1".
