The Queen of Hearts (Vanessa Vander Pluym) is a villainess from The Librarians. She appeared in Season Two's second episode (2015), "And the Broken Staff."
Usually the main antagonist from Alice in Wonderland, the Queen of Hearts was released from the storybook by Prospero, the main antagonist of Season Two. The Queen encountered Eve and Jacob at the Library, and wielded an axe in her right hand at the pair. She repeatedly exclaimed her only line of dialogue: her trademark "Off with your heads!" catchphrase.
The Queen wore a sexy red velvet and gold brocade dress that had a ruffled gown. The gown had a full back, but opened in the front revealing a red and gold underskirt with ruffled seams and an attached petticoat. It had a corset-like boning with embroidery built into the dress, and she had boots over her thigh high stockings with suspenders, and a lacy white choker around her neck. Her brunette hair was gathered up top her head held up by a red bow. The hair spilled down in braids. Besides holding the axe in her right hand, she was holding a stick in her left hand with a giant red heart at the end.
The maniacal madwoman chased Eve and Jacob throughout the Library, until she was finally thwarted by Eve, who tricked her to look into the looking glass and thus see her reflection. The Queen is immediately sent back to the storybook and disappears from the Library.
- Vanessa Vander Pluym also appeared as the evil Pam Warner in Lifetime's TV film, Into Dangerous Territory.
