Psychotic villainess Monica

Monica (Nicole Travolta) is the main villainess from "Charlie and the Revenge of the Hot Nerd," episode #86 of Anger Management (airdate November 3, 2014).

Monica first appeared in episode #36, "Charlie and the Hot Nerd," and began dating Charlie Goodson, who ended up dealing with her twisted ex-boyfriend after he hacked into the electrical devices that Monica installed in the house. As Charlie revealed in the aforementioned episode, "Charlie and the Revenge of the Hot Nerd," Monica actually went back to her ex before rekindling her relationship with Charlie.

However, Monica's twisted behavior began to surface when she showed Charlie some lingerie she was wearing, and revealed that she hacked into Charlie's PayPal account and bought it, along with tickets to a Lakers game (which cost $3,000). On the following day, Charlie confronted Monica about her actions, with Monica stating that she would put the money back in his account. Instead, Monica took over Charlie's identity, and justified her actions by stating that it would improve their relationship and make him a better boyfriend, while also suggesting that she would punish Charlie if she didn't meet her demanding standards. Monica's psychotic takeover also included installing an intercom in Charlie's phone, and she was able to listen to Charlie vent about Monica's actions.

In the episode's climax, Charlie obtains a computer code from an inmate who is a master hacker, and he was able to distract Monica long enough to put the code in and undo her hacking, even after Monica catches him. After obtaining his identity back, Charlie dumps Monica.

Quotes[]

  • "I just took over your identity. (Charlie:  "You what?!") Don't freak out. The fact that I control your money and pretty much every other aspect of your life is going to be great for us. (Charlie:  "Of course it is. How again?") Because now I can reward you if you're good and punish you if you're bad. It's the only way I can train you to be a better boyfriend without worrying that you'll run away." (Monica defending her controlling behavior towards Charlie)
